Encounter Contemporary provides access to exceptional works of art by leading emerging and established artists
Encounter Contemporary is a curatorial platform, contemporary art consultancy and dealership. Since 2013 we have successfully pioneered a flexible model that better serves both artists and collectors.
By stripping out many of the prohibitive costs of running a traditional art business we don't compromise on the curatorial and consultancy projects we undertake. We generate exciting opportunities for clients and artists by working collaboratively and reacting quickly to the fast moving market.
Leading artists now require a more flexible form of representation. Tailoring relationships with a number of acclaimed artists we run an international pop-up exhibition program curating academically rigorous, ambitious and immersive shows. Our support extends beyond the gallery walls and we play a key role in generating exposure and sales.
We recognise that every client is different. Acting as a guide and educator across many collecting categories we confidently source only the best artworks from our trusted international network of artists, art professionals and private collections. Our consultancy driven approach and flexible model puts our client's ambitions ahead of our own and allows us to pass on significant cost savings to collectors.
